Day One - Wednesday

It was a fine day. The weather was good.

Students assemble @ the hall where attendence was taken. Students were briming with enthu and were excited to get on the wagon.

Never have i seen such smiles and the eagerness except when i crack lame jokes....

I LOVE MY 3N2 class ....... they are bunch of nice young ladies and gentlemens expect for a few....u know who u r ...... well this camp provided me with the opportunity to accompany them during this camp trip.

so we started our journey to diary farm campsite......

The first event was *The Great Cow Chase* where students in groups of 12 -14 were asked to hike the bukit timah hill with prescribed trail. To find this prescribed trail students were given photos to guide them from the start to finish. At each juncture or station the group should make the sound "mmMmOOOOWwwww" before the could proceed to the next station.

Its been a long time since i last been for a hike session.... other than the thailand hike but this was fun and best of all everyone of us enjoyed it.

In fact many of us were not physically active or fit but we managed to complete the race with the encouragement from one another. I saw the fighting spirit and the positive attitude "Never Say Die"in them.

Sec 3 Camp

For many students 3 days 2 nights camp means - NO SCHOOL = NO NEED TO STUDY = LOTS OF FUN.

Well, to me (being a teacher aka GURU) it means the students lose the precious curiculum time that could make a difference in their mid year exam.

On the other hand, i'm glad they have such camps to explore their individual strengths and weakness. They get to work with their classmates to build a better relationship and better understand the unity and diversity among their peers.

The breakdown of the camp is as follows:

First day=> Get to distination Diary Farm MOE adventure camp site. Settle into the dormitory thats being allocated to them. Classes were spilt into 2 groups with each one group having aasigned a trainer. Activities for the day : Hiking Bukit Timah Hill followed by telematch and preparation for campfire performance. Oh, forgot to mention the night hike/walk!

Second day=> Due to insufficient facilities, we went down to camp christine to do Kayaking and rafting. Following that was High elements such as absiling, flying fox and rockclimbing...... Campfire

Third day=> clean up the area, do some reflections and then back to camp.
